A teaching seminar for Chinese and foreign teachers in KTPS

  In the guidance of the pragmatic education concept, in the afternoon of the thirteenth of March, the English teachers of Kuatang Experimental Primary School and the foreign teacher Thomas all got together to have a discussion about teaching.

  At the first, all the English teachers enjoyed an open class which was had by r Miss Zhong, a young teacher. The aims of the lesson are clear, all the strategies are interesting. Miss Zhong was active and try her best to arouse the student’s learning interests. She could fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the students, developed the students’ learning autonomy, and also reflected the elegance of the new teacher from various.

  The main purpose of this event is to exert the leading and guiding role of the foreign teacher. After the lesson, all the English teachers tried to give their suggestions, shared their own ideas, and discussed with Thomas. Thomas put forward his own views on some of the details of this lesson, especially he felt that the use of characters of the cartoon as the main clue for class is so novel. And at last, Miss Song who in charge of all the English teachers proposed the requirements and assumption of next event.

  By this event, everyone gathered so much, can fully learned the central idea of the meeting, and made sure the emphasis of the job we will do. At the communication with the foreign teacher, we found the teaching difference between China and western countries, learning from others, we can do better, all of the teachers believed that in the guidance of education policy of our school, and with the pragmatic education concept, the research of the effective English class will go well.
